Holy sketchy gumballs, it’s September. Where has this year gone? It’s two-thirds over, already.

We have a new album of the week, and I’ve archived some things, but I accidentally sent entries from May 2007 into cyberspace purgatory. Can any tech wizards out there help me retrieve those?

Kanye’s new album is dropping any day now, and I’ve only really been able to listen to a few tracks, but I like what I’m hearing. “Champion” is an early favorite for me. And with a lyric like “Remember when Lauryn Hill said her heart was in Zion?/I wish her heart were still in rhyming,” what’s not to love?

I’ve got to burn a mixed CD for Casey and Dan today that’s about two months past due. What would seem like a fun exercise actually gives me as much anxiety as visiting the dentist. Perfectionists should never be asked to dig through 18 days worth of music to come up with 80 seamless minutes. I’ll let you know what I come up with.
